The Story of Zeal N Heal

It all began with a simple observation:
We noticed that students around us—friends, siblings, classmates—were struggling silently. They were overwhelmed by exam stress, peer pressure, and the constant fear of not being "good enough." But when it came to seeking help, they hit a wall.
Some couldn’t afford the high cost of therapy. Others were too afraid to speak up, worried about being judged or misunderstood. And for many, the stigma around mental health made it impossible to even admit they needed help.
We realized something was deeply wrong. Why should something as essential as mental health support be out of reach for the very people who need it most?

The turning point came when we saw how parenting played a role.

We met students who were terrified of disappointing their parents, or who felt trapped by unrealistic expectations. We saw how well-meaning but overbearing parenting could unintentionally add to a child’s stress. At the same time, we also saw how supportive, understanding parents could be a lifeline for their kids.
It became clear: mental health isn’t just an individual struggle—it’s a collective one. And to truly make a difference, we needed to address not just the students, but the ecosystem around them.
That’s why we created Zeal N Heal.
We wanted to build a safe, affordable, and judgment-free space where students could find the support they needed—whether it was through counselling, self-help tools, or simply connecting with others who understood what they were going through.
But we didn’t stop there. We also wanted to start a conversation about the role of parenting in mental health. Because when parents and educators understand how their actions impact a child’s well-being, they can become powerful allies in the journey toward healing.
Today, Zeal N Heal is more than just a platform.
It’s a movement to break the silence around mental health. It’s a community where students can find hope, parents can find guidance, and everyone can learn how to support each other better.
Because no one should have to face their struggles alone. And no one should ever feel like their mental health is a luxury they can’t afford.
